The high quality of the presentations that we have at the Mini iMoot is what keeps both presenters and attendees coming back year after year. If you are new to presenting at an Mini iMoot - don't worry, you'll get help and guidance from the team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

To submit a presentation proposal please select the 'Add Entry' tab below. We'll do the rest, and get back to you to confirm whether it has been accepted.

Sessions for the Mini iMoot are to be a maximum of 45 minutes long including question time.

If you can not see the 'Add Entry' tab, either you haven't set up an account on the site, or the call for presentations has closed.

Thanks!

Setting up your own business using Moodle

Content Type: Online Teaching and Course Creation

Language: English

Description of Presentation

I run my own small business using Moodle. It has continuous enrolments in that students self enrol and then work through a course or choose to submit work for feedback from me.

I can give you a bit of a history about how my business came about (a kind of 'feel-good' story IMHO*), talk about my experiences of marketing and what makes my business successful, and discuss what Moodle activities I prefer and how I use these.

Sounds a bit dry I know, but my aim is for participants to learn tips and hints for setting up their own business, based on my own experiences in business and Moodle.

*Do people even say IMHO these days or am I showing my age?
