Description of Presentation

This session will focus on The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) use of Moodle for the delivery and certification of continuing medical education for their 40,000 plus physician members. AOA and their partners in the healthcare community are using the system to deliver timely training on the latest diseases and issues facing healthcare professionals.

Courses are primarily recorded seminar presentations with written papers and evidence. Quizzes and feedback lead to the issuing of formal certificates.

Reporting to partners and governmental regulators is of prime importance for the maintenance of professional licensing and we will delve into the reporting tools used.
