If you can not see the 'Add Entry' tab, either you haven't set up an account on the site, or the call for presentations has closed.

The free Moodle Mobile MOOC

Content Type: Online Teaching and Course Creation

Language: English

Description of Presentation

Earlier this year we ran a free Moodle Mobile MOOC as part of celebrating 10 years being a Moodle Partner (  We were completely surprised by the amount of interest in the event, with hundreds of Moodle users from all around the world signing up.

This presentation explores how we designed the MOOC for mobile devices, how we handled a bi-lingual design (MOOC is run in English and French), and how the Moodle Mobile App was used.

We will also share our experiences running the MOOC, the feedback from users on the Moodle Mobile App, and some very interesting primary data collected from the event logs etc.

This MOOC is running again NOW !  It opened 1st November, so is the first week.  Anyone attending this Mini Moot session who is interested can join the Moodle Mobile MOOC straight away and take part :-)
